राजदूत श्री धिताल द्वारा योग्यताको प्रमाण-पत्र पेश

२५ मार्च २०१५, स्विट्जरल्याण्ड। स्विट्जरल्याण्डका लागि नेपाली राजदूत महामहिम श्री दीपक धितालले स्विट्जरल्याण्डकी राष्ट्रपति श्रीमति सिमोनेट्टा सोमारुगा समक्ष एक बिषेश कार्यक्रम बिच स्विट्जरल्याण्डको राजधानी बेर्नमा आफ्नो योग्यताको प्रमाण पत्र पेश गर्नु भएको छ। नेपाली राजदूतावास जेनेभा द्वारा २४ मार्च २०१५ मा सम्प्रेषित प्रेश-विज्ञप्तिमा उक्त कुरा जनाइएको छ। उक्त अवसरमा महामहिम राजदूत श्री धितालले नेपालका राष्ट्रपति, प्रधानमन्त्री र नेपाली जनताका तर्फबाट श्रीमति सोमारुगाको व्यक्तिगत सु-स्वास्थ्य एवं स्वीस जनताको प्रगति र समुन्नतीको हार्दिक शुभकामना व्यक्त गर्नु भएको बताइएको छ। नेपाल र स्विट्जरल्याण्ड बिचको सुमधुर सम्बन्धको चर्चा गर्दे श्री धिताले नेपाल-स्विट्जरल्याण्ड बिचको सम्बन्धलाई अझै बिस्तृत एवं प्रगाढ बनाउनु पर्ने बिचार व्यक्त गर्नु भएको जनाईएको छ। त्यसै क्रममा स्विट्जरल्याण्डकी राष्ट्रपति श्रीमति सोमारुगाले नेपाल र स्विट्जरल्याण्ड बिचको घनिष्ठ सम्बन्धको चर्चा गर्दै आफ्नो २०११ को नेपाल भ्रमणको सम्झना गर्नु भएको बिज्ञप्तिमा जनाएको छ। साथै उहाँ ले नेपाली जनताले चाहे अनुसार शान्ति प्रक्रिया र संबिधान लेखन प्रक्रियाको सफलताको लागि शुभकामना व्यक्त गर्नु भएको बिज्ञप्तिमा उल्लेख छ। संयूक्त राष्ट्र संघका लागि नेपालको स्थाई नियोग जेनेभाका सह-प्रमुख श्री सुरेश अधिकारी को उक्त कार्यक्रममा महामहिम राजदुत श्री धितालको साथमा उपस्थिति रहेको बिज्ञप्तिमा लेखिएको छ।

The Ambassador of Nepal to the Swiss Confederation, H.E. Mr. Deepak Dhital, presented his letters of credence to the President of the Swiss Confederation, H.E. Ms. Simonetta Sommaruga, amidst a special ceremony organized at the Federal Palace in Bern today.

On arrival at the Federal Palace, Ambassador Dhital was received by the Chief of Protocol H.E. Ms. Nathalie Marti, who led him to the Chamber where the ceremony took place.

H.E. the President received Ambassador Dhital in audience following the presentation of credentials.

During the audience, Ambassador Dhital conveyed cordial greetings and best wishes on behalf of the Rt. Honourable President, the Rt. Honourable Prime Minister and the people of Nepal for the personal health and happiness of the President and for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of Switzerland. Admiring the imagination, creativity and innovation put forth by the Swiss people in achieving all-round development of the nation, the Ambassador expressed deep gratitude to the Government of Switzerland for long time partnership and cooperation for the socio-economic development of Nepal. The Ambassador highlighted the excellent state of relations happily existing between the two countries and underscored the need to further expand and deepen them for advancing mutual interests. Describing hydropower, tourism and agriculture based on diverse terrains and rich bio-diversity as most potential areas of growth in the development phase Nepal is embarking upon after the completion of the political process, Ambassador Dhital expressed the hope that all our valued development partners, including Switzerland, would come forward to support Nepal in its coveted development bid.

H.E. the President expressed happiness over the excellent state of bilateral relations existing between Nepal and Switzerland. She fondly recalled her visit to Nepal in 2011 and wanted to know the latest political development in Nepal. The Ambassador subsequently briefly her on the final efforts among the political parties to iron out any remaining differences and reach common understanding on the ingredients of the constitution in order to promulgate it as early as possible. The President expressed happiness that Switzerland was able to support Nepal over a long period of time in various development areas of Nepal. She underscored the importance of people centred and sustainable development in view of the rich natural and cultural heritage of Nepal. She wished all success in concluding the peace process and promulgating a democratic constitution as desired by the Nepalese people. She expressed the view that Switzerland could provide good example of how federalism works in the best interest of the country and the people.

Among those dignitaries present on the occasion were Federal Chancellor H.E. Ms. Corina Casanova and other senior officials of the Government of the Swiss Confederation. Deputy Chief of Mission Mr. Suresh Adhikari accompanied the Ambassador.
